Sj Auto Car Wash Sdn Bhd (“SJ Auto Car Wash”, “we”, “us”) operates car wash and detailing services in Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

1. Data we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address when you give them to us.
• Messages: messages you send to us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, including the content, time and your public profile name provided by the platform.
• Service and membership records: vehicle details (such as plate number, brand and model), visit history, services used, membership tier, loyalty points, rewards and lucky draw entries.
• Reviews and comments: reviews you post about us on Google or Facebook, and comments on our social media posts.
• Communication preferences: whether you agreed to receive messages from us, and through which channel.

2. How we use your data

• To answer your questions and provide customer service.
• To manage bookings, services, membership, points, rewards and lucky draws.
• To reply to your reviews and to improve our service.
• To send you reminders, offers or notices, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• To keep our systems secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share data with

We use trusted service providers to operate our business tools. They process data only on our behalf:

• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram) to send and receive your messages.
• Google (Google Business Profile) to read and reply to reviews.
• Supabase and Vercel for secure database and website hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) to help our staff draft replies and content. Text of customer messages or reviews may be sent to it for this purpose. Replies are reviewed by our staff before they are sent.

We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored in access-controlled systems that only authorised staff can sign in to. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Our service providers may process data on servers outside Malaysia.

5. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is inaccurate;
• stop sending you marketing messages (you can also reply “STOP”);
• delete your personal data.

7. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
